Access Florida is the online system run by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) for the management of public assistance benefits. Access, also known as the Automated Community Connection to Economic Self Sufficiency allows Florida residents to connect with their public assistance information 24 hours a day, seven days a week through their online MyAccess account. Access Florida currently supports the following public assistance programs – the Food Assistance Program (food stamps), the Temporary Cash Assistance Program, and the Medicaid Program. The Access Florida online portal allows users to be able to complete a variety of tasks related to their public assistance benefits. By creating a MyAccess account on the Access Florida portal users can determine their eligibility for public assistance benefits, apply for benefits, check the status of an application, view their benefits payment schedule, report a change in their benefits, update their contact information, check the balance on the Florida EBT card, view EBT card transaction history, and more.
