MyAccessFlorida Account

The Florida ACCESS system is used by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) to administer financial assistance programs for needy families and individuals – focusing on economic self-sufficiency.

The Florida MyAccess system currently serves the following government assistance programs:

  • Food Assistance Program (Food Stamps or SNAP)
  • Temporary Cash Assistance (TANF)
  • Medicaid Program
  • Refugee Services

Currently, you can use your Florida ACCESS account to complete several actions pertaining to the assistance programs listed above. The Florida ACCESS system can be used to:

  • Determine Eligibility for Public Assistance Benefits
  • Apply for Public Assistance Benefits
  • Check the Status of a Benefits Application
  • Manage your Current Benefits
  • Check your Current Benefits Balance
  • View your Transaction History
  • Update your Account Information

Florida ACCESS Log In Instructions

Follow these steps to successfully log into your ACCESS account.

Visit the MyACCESS website

The first step to logging into your MyAccessFlorida account is to visit the myACCESS website. Click here to be taken to the ACCESS page. When you get to the page, find the “Returning Users” section located on the right-side of the page.

Enter your ACCESS User ID and Password

Next, you will have to enter your Florida ACCESS “User ID” and “Password”. Proceed by clicking the “Sign In” button to successfully log in your MyAccess account.

How to Retrieve MyACCESS Florida User ID 

If you misplaced your myACCESS User ID information, follow these steps.

Visit the FL ACCESS Login Page

First, be sure that you are on the Florida ACCESS Login Page. If you are not already there, then click this link to go to the page.

Submit a User ID Recovery Request

The second thing you will want to do is submit a request to recover your MyAccessFlorida User ID. To do this, click the “Forgot User ID” link located in the Login Portal.

Enter the Requested Information

Once you click this link, you will be taken to a page where you will be required to submit your personal and case information. To retrieve your ACCESS User ID, will need to have the following information ready to submit:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Case Number
  • Zip Code (the zip code at the address where you live)
  • Payee First Name (If applicable)
  • Payee Last Name (If applicable)
  • Payee Date of Birth (If applicable)

How to Reset MyACCESS Florida Password

If you have forgotten your MyACCESS account Password, follow the steps below to reset your password.

Submit a User ID Recovery Request

The second thing you will want to do is submit a request to reset your MyAccessFlorida Password. To do this, click the “Forgot Password” link located in the Login Portal.

Create My ACCESS Florida Account 

There are two ways to create a My ACCESS Florida account. It depends on whether you already have a case number or not. If you have submitted an application for benefits (Food Stamps/SNAP, Temporary Cash Assistance/ TANF, Medicaid or Medical Assistance) and have been given a case number but you do not have ACCESS account, here is how to create one. If you have not yet applied for benefits and do not have a case number, see below for how to create your ACCESS account. 

Step 1

The first step to create an ACCESS account is to gather all the information you will be required to enter online to create your account. Here is the list of information:

  • Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Email Address
  • Case Number (You can find your Case Number by looking at the top of any letter you have gotten from your worker).
  • Zip code of the address where you live

Step 2

 

Create MyAccessFlorida Account

There are two ways to create a MyAccessFlorida account. Which method you choose depends on whether you have already applied for benefits and have a case number or if you are new and want to apply for benefits online. If you already have a case number, see instructions below on how to create an account. If you do not have a case number and want to start a new application for benefits, scroll down below to see instructions. If you have an account and just want help logging in, scroll below and go to the “Help with MyAccessFlorida Log in” section:

Create an Account with Case Number 
To create your account, go to this page and click on the “Create My Access Account” as shown in the image below. You will be taken to a page where you will be required to enter your personal information to create the account. This includes the following:

    • Date of Birth
    • Email Address
    • Case Number (if you have already applied for benefits)
    • Zip Code

Once you have entered this information, you will then have to complete the next section where you will be required to enter a “User ID” and “Password”. This will then be followed by a section where you have to select “Security Questions”. The last two parts of the page require you to pick an option on how you want the DCF to communicate with you, including language and mailing options. Once you are done, click on the “Next” button as shown in the image below:

Once you click “Next”, you will arrive at a confirmation page, which is your indication that you have successfully created your account.

Create an account with Case Number 

If you do not have a case number and are newly applying for benefits online(SNAP/Food Stamps, Cash Assistance/TANF, or Medical Assistance), click here to get started.

Step 1:

Click on the “Start a new application for Food Assistance (SNAP), Medical Assistance and/or Cash Assistance” as shown below and you will be taken to a page to begin the account creation process. On the next page, select “Create an Account” button and click “Next”. You will then arrive at the page where you will have to enter your personal information:

Step 2:

You will now be required to enter the following information as shown below:

  • Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Email Address
  • User ID
  • Password
  • Select Security Questions

Once you accept the “User Acceptance Agreement”, click next. You will be taken to a confirmation page, which is your indication that you have successfully created your MyAccessFlorida log in account.
